mmmmm favourite needles, eh?

That would be my addi turbos. Not just any addi turbos, mind you. My addi turbo Lace US6 47 inch needles.

They are my go to needle for everything I can. In fact, I've been known to reconfigure the gauge math on a project to accomodate my needles!

Happy Blogaversary!

Happy blogaversary to you!

Hmm.... favorite needles... I'm not sure I've met them yet! I often use regular Addi turbos, but I'm still on the hunt for a good metal needle that doesn't "drop off" too quickly before the needle joins the cable, if that makes sense. Looking forward to reading what others like, too :)

Happy blogiversary!
I think my favourite needles are any of my Addi lace needles. I try to like other needles, but Addis just work for me.

Ooh...um, I just bought some new Addi turbos, which are awesome. I also love my Knit Picks fixed circular needles for socks. But really, I love most (knitting) needles!

Happy Blogiversary Tinna!

I'm going to say it's a toss-up between my Addi turbos and the acupuncture needles. Both are relaxing, albeit in different ways, and both help me tackle stress, again in different ways. It helps that my acupuncturist is also a knitter, we can discuss one while doing the other!

Happy Blogiversary!

I love Knitpicks Needles. Just like I love Knitpicks yarn. Does that make me not a conniseur because theyre reasonably priced? I dont think so. I think it just makes Knitpicks good.

But I need wooden needles. Metal are always too slippery for me. I have one circular Addi Turbo. It worked well enough, but SOOOOO slippery! Id rather use clover than addi.

All of my Signature Needles are my very fav needles.
The double pointed are amazing with their texture on the main body which hlps keep yarn from slipping off to the steltto points that help pick up the finest yarn they are just beautiful!

Happy Blogaversary!

I absolutely love my knitpicks options. For a girl who can never get gauge, being able to tote around so many different sizes in something smaller than a pencil bag is vital to the success of my subway knitting.

Congrats on your blog-anniversary :-)

My favourite needles: birch needles DPN, from Brittany. They work smoothly and I enjoy that.

Your Malabrigo looks wonderful!

First, HAPPY BLogiversary! Your knitting skills are awesome and I'm always happy to see your pics.

Now for the needles: I don't have just one favorite. I do find that I have favorites depending on the project, fiber content and weight.

For cirs: laceweight cotton = Addi Lace needles; laceweight silk = Suzanne's ebony; worsted - addis.

Socks = addis, 40" or knitpicks 40" for magic loop knitting.

When I'm knitting small pieces back and forth I love my Lantern Moon straight needles.

I find that sometimes sticky wool just needs a slick metal needle and I'll grab a pair of ancient Boyles.

My grandmother could knit a stranded Norwegian sweater just by looking at a 1"x1" picture and she knit with the same pair of needles for years. She just changed her stitch count to match her gauge. So easy but not much fun (IMO).

Happy blogiversary!!!

Favourite needles are without any question my harmony interchangeables. They are just wonderful to knit with, so convinient to change needle when I've done the cuf or need to put the stitches on "waist yarn"!

Happy Blogiversary! I'd have to say that my favorite needles are any ones with 47" cables. I can either knit a huge project or magic loop something small. Yay, versatility!

Happy anniversary Tina. I have been in love with my Harmony interchangables for some time. My love has recently been renewed when Knit Picks started selling longer cables.

Happy Blogaversary!!! :)

My favorite needles...hm. I love love love Addi Turbos. They are just so smooth, and when I knit with them I feel like I'm just flying along the Plateaus of Stockinette rather than slogging through the Bog of Never-Ending Knitting. :) The joins are smooth, the cable sturdy and flexible, and they are just COMFORTABLE.

Anyway, you totally rock, good luck on your exams!!!

I luvs my harmony interchangables, but when it's time to knit little things in the round, I don't like magic loop. In that case I reach for some lovely bamboo 5" dpns that I bought on eBay from some guy in Minnesota.

I also luvs your dog in the snow. Very funny!
